Leah got to go to another ice skating birthday party. This time it was for her friend, Alexis Quigley. Since Eric was home, I got to go with Leah and she convinced me to get on the ice too. It was so fun being out there with the girls and especially good to have some one on one time with my little Leah and her friends. Leah did a great job staying on her feet.

We heard that a whale had died and washed up on shore at Lowers Trestles. We kept reading about it and finally decided to head down and check it out. It was a 40 foot, 60,000 lbs, gray whale. It was fascinating to see this massive animal up close. It was a long trek down there at dusk. It was a good adventure and I am glad we decided to go check it out. It was cool to Facetime with Mom and Dad while we were there, too. Of course, the girls made friends along the way!

Andrew got some sunglasses. He loves them!
Art in Action was pottery this week. A couple of shots from Leah's class.
Eric and I got out for date night thanks to the Blodgetts! We celebrated Mindy's birthday at Benihana's in Newport. Such a great night with fun friends.
Here is a pre-date selfie to update my profile picture.
The girls and I had a fun time at Lyla's birthday party. It was a perfect pool day and one of the best candy bars I've seen. Thanks Morales family!
Silly cat glasses.
We watched the new Star Wars movie at home and at the end Ava sat up close to the TV had us rewind to a few parts where she made some insightful observations and came up with some clever assumptions.
Some silly family pictures at home.

This was Leah's first recital! Ava was an ole pro. They both did an amazing job learning their pieces and writing their little talks. They were very professional and did wonderful! We were very proud. It was also Anna's first recital and unfortunately it was Jeremy's last recital. We love sharing piano with the Eisenbises. Ava and Leah were both recognized for passing a level this year. Ava was recognized for prepared lessons and beginning Certificate of Merit. They are both doing very well at piano! I love this picture of the girls with Sister Karen Hess. She is very patient and a great teacher. See videos below.

The Robinson Jog-a-thon was on Friday! This is always such a fun day for the kids. I love how they all cheer for each other. The school spirit is strong. Ava's class ran with the special ed class and I loved seeing her classmates help them and cheer for them along the way. Ava got to see Leah running when she was coming back from the computer lab and ran over to give her a high five. Leah ran 13 laps and Ava ran 14 laps (almost 3 miles!!) in 30 minutes. We were impressed! The students thought the warm up obstacle course was cool, too.
Ava got to go to the Glow Party with Brooklyn to celebrate her earnings after school.
