Halloween Night!

We had the Eisenbises, Meredith, and Eric's parents come to our house for Trick or Treating. Anna and Mandi were bats even though Mandi wouldn't wear her costume and Anna kept calling her a rat instead.  Mandi was the biggest trooper out on the streets.  She held Ava's hand the entire time!  It was really cute. Our neighborhood was busy! It was fun to see school and church friends as we went around town. We headed over to the haunted house. It was a hit! The adults always love it.

Back at home the kids checked out their stash and we had some snacks and hung out.  It even started raining outside.  It felt like a real fall night.  I was surprised at myself at how much I was able to walk around being almost 39 weeks pregnant.  Now that Halloween is over, I am ready to welcome our baby!

It was a great night. Happy Halloween!

Pumpkins and Haunted Houses

We had date night with the Eisenbises!  We went to dinner at a good Italian place in Laguna Niguel and then to The Empty Grave - a haunted house.  We met up with Meredith and Joel there.  After reading some warning signs I decided not to go in with being so pregnant and all.  Super fun night though!

We carved pumpkins and had the annual soup dinner on Sunday but relocated to the Sumans house with the Peeples, Kevin and Destinee, Eisenbises, Andres, Blairs, etc.  It was fun to see what the girls wanted to do with their pumpkins.  Leah kept with the Frozen theme and had Eric carve a snowflake.  Ava loves Shopkins toys and had Eric carve a face to look like the pumpkin shopkin toy.

Trunk or Treat

Ava and Leah were so excited to finally get to wear their Anna and Elsa costumes that have been hanging in the closet for weeks. They were so excited to put on make up and get their hair done and feel like princesses. They are my favorite sisters!  Eric decided to make use of his ref gear and dress up too.  He had a lot of ideas of how I could dress up using my baby belly as a centerpiece but I declined.
Here is the slew of back yard pictures.

Trunk or Treat kicked off the costume wearing season!  The girls love this event at church.  Hot dogs, chili, bounce house, a fire truck, an outdoor movie, friends, and candy galore.  What's not to like?  This was the first year we actually passed out candy.  The girls were happily going car to car on their own so we got to decorate our trunk and pass out candy.  At one point in the night Leah said she wanted to go have the boys chase her more and Ava asked for the keys to the car so I guess they are growing up in a hurry!

Pumpkin City

As tradition has it, we were back at Pumpkin City pumpkin lot this week. Before we headed to the patch we went to In-n-Out for dinner.

The Eisenbises, Meredith, and Bill and Cindy joined in on the pumpkin fun. The little girls were really excited to go on the rides and to play the carnival games.

Annual height pictures!

We love Pumpkin City!
